The Glenn Miller Birthplace Museum shares the stories behind his rise to stardom, WWII service and the continuing impact of his music. His historic birthplace home, adjacent to the museum, is also open for tours.

Set off on a self-guided walking tour along Clarinda Boulevard, which is lined by 14 impressive historic buildings. This route marks Clarinda’s original 1853 plat and features a variety of historic sites and landmarks. Another local legend, J. Bruner’s was established in 1983 and has since maintained its reputation as one of the area’s best fine dining spots.
