Des Moines River Water Trail is 41 miles through Van Buren County. Boats, canoes and kayaks have access to the river at Shidepoke Access in Selma, Douds, Austin Park, Keosauqua, Bentonsport, Bonaparte, Des Moines River access (downriver from Bonaparte) and Farmington.
