Wildcat Den State Park

Trail system leads through canyons and cliffs with amazing rock formations with sites that are interestingly named "Steamboat Rock," "Devil's Punch Bowl" and "Fat Man's Squeeze." Non-modern restrooms. Historic Pine Creek Grist Mill is located in the park, open Wednesday-Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Two day-use picnic shelters are available for advanced reservations by visiting iowastateparks.reserveamerica.com. A primitive campground is open year round with 28 campsites.
