Wells Hotel Museum

Show Contact Information +
The museum is located in a house that was built around 1880 by the founder of Wellsburg, George Wells. It was used by his farm hands who dubbed it the Wells Hotel. The Wellsburg Historical Foundation purchased the house in 1993 and decided to keep the name which was used so many years ago. Part of the museum represents late 1800s/early 1900s. Artifacts from the Wellsburg area are housed throughout the two-story museum. Seasonal hours: Most Saturdays 1-4 p.m. June through August. Also open upon request; just give us a call and someone would be happy to meet you.
