Steineke Area provides 15.5 acres on the east side of the Little Sioux River between Quimby and Washta, Iowa. The area features 5 primitive campsites nestled between forested and prairie areas, available for $10 per night. Drinking water, fire pits, picnic tables, a picnic shelter, and a restroom are provided. Fishing is popular in this stretch of the Little Sioux River for catfish and walleye. Also available is canoe/kayak access to the Inkpaduta Water Trail.
