South Skunk River Water Trail - Soper's Mill Access

Designated as a State Water Trail in 2020, the South Skunk River Water Trail includes 33 miles of river with 11 access points. The newly renovated (2023) Soper's Mill Access includes a large parking area with cement paths for kayak, canoe, or paddleboard launch points. Soper’s Mill is a 16-acre historic site on the Skunk River. Bird watching, geocaching, and several other activities are possible; however, we do not have picnic tables or grills available. Recreational opportunities include canoeing, kayaking, stream fishing, hiking, and forest/upland hunting.
