South Skunk River Water Trail - E18 Access

Designated as a State Water Trail in 2020, the South Skunk River Water Trail includes 33 miles of water trail with 11 access points. Total float time for the entire trail is approximately 8 hrs. The E18 Access to the Skunk River Water Trail offers twenty-nine acres of prairie and seven acres of wetland. Stream fishing, canoeing & kayaking are popular activities. Hiking, equestrian, cross-country skiing, and mountain biking trails are available. Hunting and trapping of forest and upland species is allowed; no target practice is allowed - only non-toxic ammunition is allowed. Bird watching, geocaching, and several other activities are possible; however, we do not have picnic tables or grills available.
