South Fork Wildlife Area

Show Contact Information +
Named for the south fork of the Beaver Creek that meanders within its borders, this 42-Acre wildlife area is a mix of grassland with natural and man-made wetlands scattered throughout. Except for the northwest quarter of the area, small game and waterfowl can be hunted here within their permitted seasons, and bowhunting for deer and trapping are available with a permit from Grundy County Conservation. This park can be found south of US Highway 20 by following E Ave north to its end and turning right.
