Slater Area Historical Museum

Historical exhibits about the surrounding area and communities - 1939 Kitchen, the Slater Panorama (a scale model of Slater in the 1950s), 1920 Dentist Office, military display of photos, memorabilia and stories. Special World War I exhibit. Exhibits "Unsung Heroes of World War 2", and "Life on a Submarine in World War 2", and life on a sub during the Viet Nam conflict. Also "Women in World War 2". Many visual displays and some interactive. Groups welcome, Children welcome. Docent tours available.
