Site for filming "The Crazies" movie

The remake of the science fiction, horror film, The Crazies, was filmed in many locations in Lenox in 2009 and many Lenox folks served as extras. Perhaps, the most iconic scene is the baseball field scene where our high school team played in the movie. Other key locations were Iowa State Savings Bank, Ritchie Funeral Home, the school, and the quaint Main Street which is why Lenox was chosen by the producers.
