Sharon Bluffs State Park

Sharon Bluffs State Park is located on the bluffs overlooking the Chariton River. The park offers a variety of outdoor activities including picnicking, bird watching, hiking, fishing, and nature study. The Nature Center at Sharon bluffs features live native animals, taxidermy, and educational activities. It is open for limited hours during the year, or by appointment. 6 campsites offer 30 amp service and are first-come-first-served. 2 CCC-built pit latrines are near the campground. A fill and dump station are located at the entrance of the park. A shelter house built by the CCC can be reserved by calling the ACCB office.
