Rock Island Depot

Show Contact Information +
The Rock Island Railroad Depot was built in 1898 for the Rock Island Railroad Line. The building’s Renaissance style helps set it apart from most other depots. The Depot was and still is the anchor for Downtown Atlantic. In 2002, ARISE (Atlantic Rock Island Society Enterprise), completed a full restoration project and the Depot is now listed on the National Historic Register. The Depot is home to the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce, a thriving organization of over 300 members.
