Reed-Niland Corner
One of the first one-stops along the Lincoln Highway, the Reed-Niland Corner was run by a single man and then his family to provide gas, food, and lodging to travelers on Lincoln and Jefferson Highways. Today, visitors can still enjoy a hearty meal from Niland’s Café or enjoy a night in a room at the Colo Motel. The station is now a museum run by the Colo Historical Association and is open on the last weekend of every month and by appointment. Enjoy a walking tour with historical markers telling the story of the triangular corner.
