Raccoon River Valley Bike Trail

The Raccoon River Valley Trail is an 89-mile paved trail running from Jefferson to Waukee, IA. Bicyclists, joggers, walkers, skaters, campers, cross-country skiers, birdwatchers, hunters, fishermen, and naturalists all use the RRVT. In recent years, the Conservation Board directors, citing the reports from electrical counters along the trail, have estimated that more than 350,000 people per year are using the RRVT.
