North Woods Park

The perfect park for the whole family with a newly installed natural playscape hosting various ways to build, draw, imagine and play with nature! A beautiful open picnic area is near the playground, as well as a sand-volleyball court and horseshoe pits. A.F. Miller Preserve is nestled within the park, a state preserve that hosts many of Iowa's rare and endangered plant species. Over a mile of trails weave through the park and the adjourning Wilson Grove Wildlife Area, managed by Bremer County Conservation. Fishing is also available at Wilson Grove Wildlife Area, just a short walk from the campground. Electrical campsites with 20 and 30 amp service available, as well as drinking water, pit latrines, modern restrooms and a shower house. Two shelters are open for rent by calling (319) 882-4742.
