Hikers, cross-country skiers and nature lovers alike can enjoy the beauty of Iowa with over 2 miles of trails maintained by Bremer County Conservation that wind through the park. A picnic, playground, sand volleyball courts and horseshoe pits are available for day-use recreation. There's easy access to the Cedar River for canoeing and fishing via a boat ramp. North Cedar Wildlife Area connects on the west side of the park, offering more opportunities for hunting, fishing, and hiking with timber and old river oxbows. Spend the night in the campground with over 40 electrical sites, drinking water, flush toilets, pit latrines, a shower house and a dump station. An open shelter is available for rent by calling (319) 882-4742.
