Mason City Veterans Monument

Honoring over 3,300 veterans with Mason City connections, featuring 12 black India granite stones, each standing eight feet high and weighing 4,000 pounds. Located in Central Park – in the heart of downtown Mason City – the memorial is a beautiful spot for veterans, their families, and visitors to reflect, remember, and find solace as they honor those who have served and those who are currently serving our country. Any Veteran that has a tie to Mason City, signed their name to the line, and completed their military obligation with an honorable discharge is eligible to have their name placed on the monument.
