Visit our world-famous covered bridges, the inspiration behind and setting of the novel, movie and musical, "The Bridges of Madison County." Guided tours are available through the Madison County Chamber of Commerce. Our Welcome Center & Gift Shop offers visitors free information, maps and directions, brochures and travel guides, as well as public restrooms, wifi and a place to rest their feet. We sell our own Madison County merchandise and souvenirs. Visitors can also view movie memorabilia.
