Lake Pahoja Recreation Area

Lake Pahoja Recreational Area has 300 acres and is open year-round. It offers a variety of recreation activities such as camping, biking, canoeing, hunting (Non-toxic shot only), fishing, ice-fishing, trail (4-mile hard surface), plus a whole lot more. The 72 acre lake, which is surrounded by restored habitats, has excellent angling opportunities for large-mouth bass, crappie, blue-gill, channel catfish, walleye and perch fishermen. Electric trolling motors only and no baiting with live minnows. There are paddle boats, kayaks and canoes available to rent. There is a designated swimming area that can be utilized during park hours (no lifeguard provided). There are 3 playgrounds, 3 volleyball courts, basketball court, 6 open picnic shelters to enjoy, as well as a scout area for any scout groups to use. The campgrounds offer a total of 71 camp sites with electric and 8 of those with water hookup. For rental facilities the park has 2 enclosed shelter houses, 6 modern cabins, and 2 full amenity lodges. Lodges and the east shelter are available year-round. All of our facilities are handicap accessible. No pets allowed inside the lodges, cabins, shelters, bathrooms or on the beach. Pets must be leashed at all times.
