Welcome to Kyle's Bikes! We're a full service bike shop that provides a wide variety of bikes to rent, including hybrids, road bikes, and e-bikes, + kids bikes and trailers! Our store on First Street in Ankeny is a nine minute bike ride away from the High Trestle Trail trailhead, the start point for an epic 50 mile round trip ride to the 130ft tall High Trestle Bridge over the Des Moines River! Our location in Waukee is also a short ride away from the Raccoon River Valley Trail, a nationally recognized, 89 mile paved trail through the picturesque Iowa countryside and small towns. Just last summer, the High Trestle and Raccoon River Valley trails were connected to make a colossal 120mi loop across farm fields and Des Moines Neighborhoods if you're looking to do a bigger ride, or you can break it up into a multi day tour with multiple lodging options along the trails. Whether you're looking to get a big ride in, see the High Trestle Bridge, or just spend a day outside exploring, central Iowa is more beautiful by bike, and we're here to help you discover more while you're visiting!
