Kirn Park

Located on historic High School Hill, Kirn Park occupies the site of Council Bluffs' first purpose-built high school, which opened in 1870. Today, the five-acre neighborhood park blends local history with recreation, providing a welcoming space for outdoor activities, community gatherings, and youth sports. The park features a playground, cinder track, football and soccer field, grandstand bleachers, picnic shelter, and open green space.
