Kenue Park

Home of the Dickinson County Nature Center, Pollinator Paradise, Westport Schoolhouse and the 18-hole Okoboji Gold Disc Golf Course, this 75-acre park is unique because of its oak savanna. The park also features meadows and a glacial kame that offers a spectacular overlook of the surrounding area. Kenue Park has mowed trails through the prairie and around the wetland, which is home to two rehabilitated trumpeter swans. Osprey also nest in the park each summer, and a live osprey web camera lets you get an inside look into their life cycle. Pick up a geocaching passport in the nature center and head out into the park for some fun geocaching. The Nature Playscape is also a hit. Climb trees, follow the net rope to the tree house, test your balance on a rope swing bridge and go through an underground tunnel.
