The Iowa Hall of Fame and Racing Museum, Inc. is dedicated to honoring Iowa's racing legends and preserving Iowa's racing history for future generations. The Iowa Hall of Fame and Racing Museum, Inc. was established in 2016 with the goal of finding a larger more permanent home for our growing collection of racing memorabilia. For several years prior to becoming an incorporated non-profit, Marty and Nancy Pringle opened their shop, home, out buildings and ten acres to the public to visit their private collection of race cars and racing memorabilia donated from race drivers, fans, tracks and clubs. Our collection features several race cars, fire suits, helmets, trophies and other racing memorabilia. We also have an extensive collection of photographs, negatives, newspapers and magazines to provide a great research library. A very important part of our museum is our all Iowa Hall of Fame. The inaugural Hall of Fame Class of 32 pioneers and legends of the sport were inducted in 2018. Since then, our Hall of Fame has grown to 125 well-deserving individuals in the sport. These Hall of Famers will have a special place to share their accomplishments and their stories at our museum. In 2023, The Board of the Kossuth County Ag & Motorsports Museum invited us to be a part of their new building project. We celebrated our grand opening at our new location at 800 East Fair Street in Algona on April 5th, 2025.
