Humboldt County Historical Museum

Seated on the east branch of the Des Moines River, the Humboldt County Historical Museum offers visitors an immersive experience of early prairie life in Iowa. The museum is comprised of a schoolhouse, log cabin, Victorian farmhouse and more that tell the history of Humboldt County and its people. The regular touring season from the entire museum campus is June 1st-Sept. 30th. The Millhouse Extended Tour Season: April 17th, 2023-May 30th, 2023 and Month of October 2023.
