Henry County Conservation Campgrounds

Henry County Conservation Department offers three lovely campgrounds for guests. *South Shore Area situated on the south shore of the Skunk River features 24 sites with concrete pads and 50A electrical service, as well as 6 primitive sites. Don't miss the photo opportunity in front of our beautiful mural! *Water Works Area is a quaint 16-acre multi-use facility on the north shore of the Skunk River with 20 semi-modern campsites offering 50A electrical service and 5 primitive sites. The Water Works Area is home to the Ross Observation Tower. Don't miss the photo opportunity in front of the beautiful butterfly mural! *Top of Hill Area provides 8 50A electrical service sites and is open throughout the year. It is located near the Oakland Mills Nature Center. It is also near the Woodland Trail Disc Golf Course, which starts at the trail head. This is the back 9 holes of the Riverview Disc Golf Course. Other features include a catch and release fishing pond and a swinging bridge. A dump station for all camping units is located at Water Works Area.
