Show Contact Information +
For over 40 years, the Grinnell Area Arts Council has been the heartbeat of Grinnell's local creative community. As a non-profit dedicated to the belief that art is essential, GAAC enriches the city by fostering creative expression in all its forms, welcoming visitors and neighbors of every age to explore, learn, and connect. Our locations on Broad Street include the Grinnell Arts Center (926 Broad St), containing Stewart Gallery, The Loft Theatre, administrative offices and education space; and the Stew Makerspace (927 Broad St), a collaborative, hands-on studio equipped for pottery, woodworking, creative workshops and classes and much more. GAAC proudly hosts a diverse family of local programs throughout the year, making it easy to experience community talent while you are in town.
