Summer Hours Monday-Wednesday 6 a.m.-4 p.m. Thursday-Friday 6am-8pm Saturday-Sunday 8am-8pm Grass Roots Market & Cafe offers a variety of drinks, snacks, pastries, hot breakfast sandwiches, lunches, soft serve, and custard. Everything we make is from scratch and we use Iowa grown ingredients whenever possible. Customer favorites include hot and iced lattes sweetened with house made syrups. Popular flavors include vanilla maple and blueberry lavender, with seasonal specials throughout the year. Our espresso is made with locally roasted coffee. We also offer a variety of teas, including house brewed chai with fresh ginger and whole cardamom, matcha, Earl Gray, black tea, green tea, and herbal teas. We are a popular stop for kids and families for an afternoon or summer evening ice cream treat. On weekends, our cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy draw crowds. This summer we will have pizza nights, featuring fresh locally grown tomatoes, basil, cheeses, sausage, and more, paired with equally delicious salads for a balanced meal.
