Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens

Explore the Dubuque Arboretum & Botanical Gardens! Since 1980, our 56-acre haven at 3800 Arboretum Drive, Dubuque, Iowa has been a favorite spot for nature lovers. Admission is always FREE, and the grounds are open year-round from 7 a.m. to dusk. Please note: The Visitor Center closes in early November and reopens at the end of April (weather permitting), but the gardens are yours to enjoy all year long! Each year, about 100,000 visitors from around the world come to wander our trails, snap stunning photos, picnic under the trees, and soak in the beauty. Best of all, this incredible space is cared for by 250 volunteers and a small but mighty staff. Come visit—hike, relax, explore, and make memories in nature!
