Dragoon Trail Marker
Trail follows the path of the 1st U.S. Dragoons, cavalry soldiers who scouted Iowa in 1835 after the Black Hawk Purchase put the area under U.S. government patrol. This monument was erected in 1938 by the Iowa daughters of the American Revolution.
