For 58 years, Del's Garden Center has been offering a place for garden enthusiasts to build their plant collections, homeowners to develop and beautify their properties and generations of families that continue the tradition of shopping with us through the years! Del and Charin began developing the 11 acres of land that now houses 14 greenhouses, a nursery and a design studio which overlooks our display garden of interesting and sustainable plants. 15 minutes from the beautiful shores of Okoboji and imbedded in the charming agricultural community of Northwest Iowa, we enjoy serving the region and being a destination garden center that is worth the trip from across our state and beyond! We love to bring in the latest introduction of beautiful plants and we specialize in specimen sizes that can make an instant impact with shade and stunning colors! We also continue to offer plants that are tried and true, planted on lovely projects throughout our town and the surrounding counties. Open all year round, we offer different seasonal classes and events that draw the interest from around Iowa. The Clay County Fair time is also a great time to visit our garden center for Fall color and of course, Christmas time is a special season for us as well.
