Crescent Hill at Hitchcock

Elevate your adventurous side at Crescent Hill at Hitchcock! Previously known as Mt. Crescent Ski Area, Crescent Hill is located 15 miles northeast of Omaha, Nebraska, in Iowa's globally significant Loess Hills. The area has been offering ski and snowboard experiences since 1961 when it was discovered by famous Olympian gold medalist skier Stein Eriksen. Crescent Hill offers two lifts, 11 runs, and a terrain park to intrigue new skiers and challenge experienced ones. The area installed a state-of-the-art snowmaking system in 2023 and offers rentals, lessons, and sledding in the winter months. Crescent Hill at Hitchcock is managed by Pottawattamie Conservation and is part of the 1,500-acre Hitchcock Nature Center, offering access to Hitchcock's 14-mile hiking trail system that is available year-round.
