Buena Vista County Conservation Park

Located just off the Glacial Trails Scenic Byway and within the Waterman Creek Bird Conservation Area, this area offers an arboretum, prairie grass plantings and woodland areas to explore. A rustic oak log cabin has been completed and is available to rent. Sleeps 10-12 people, full kitchen, full bathroom, living area with a TV and DVD player. Four camping areas with a wide array of recreational activities and hosts two enclosed shelters that can be reserved and rented. Timber Ridge Campground includes 20 sites with water and 50 amp electrical hook-ups. Modern restroom with showers, ADA-accessible. Bur Oak Campground includes 16 shady sites with 30 amp electrical hook-ups. Small restroom with shower. Two different primitive camping areas with open shelters and a table at each site.
