Breezy Bay Campground at Hickory Grove Park

Breezy Bay Campground is the modern campground at Hickory Grove Park. It is located on the north side of the lake. There are 43 modern camping sites (17 reservable; 25 available on a first-come, first-served basis only; 1 campground attendant).There is a shower house with flush toilets and hot water at Breezy Bay. The campground is open April through October. There are also 11 primitive campsites on the south side of the lake. Reservations can be made at www.mycountyparks.com. Hickory Grove Park is the largest and most popular of the conservation board's parks. This 445-acre multiple-use recreational area southwest of Colo contains a 98-acre lake stocked with large mouth bass, bluegill, crappie, channel catfish, & walleye. A large beach, jetties and docks for fishing, and an archery range are available for your enjoyment. Rent a kayak or paddle board and enjoy some time exploring, or get immersed in nature on the 3 miles of hiking trails in the park.
