Bix Beiderbecke Museum & Archives

The Bix Beiderbecke Museum & Archives is a 501(c)3 nonprofit in Davenport, Iowa, the hometown of Jazz Legend Bix Beiderbecke. The Bix Museum is the premier location in the Quad Cities to learn about the life and legacy of Bix Beiderbecke. The museum hosts a comprehensive presentation of his life and music, showcasing artifacts of his and the musicians he played with. Our archives hold the most extensive archival resource on Bix worldwide and serve to preserve and teach his legacy. The museum is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon-Fri, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Sat, and by appointment on the weekends. Admission is $8 for adults; $5 for seniors, children 5-17, and students; FREE for children under 5, veterans, active duty, and first responders.
