Bellevue State Park

Show Contact Information +
Come visit the beautiful Butterfly Garden at the Nelson Unit of Bellevue State Park. The Garden is maintained by volunteers and is the host to butterflies, bees, birds, and bugs. The garden's man-made pond is home to turtles and many frogs. Enjoy the colorful varieties of flowers while children use nets to catch and release the pond critters. Make sure to spend a moment to visit the Fairies and Gnome Village, too. Our imaginations come to life in this little village of make-believe. Make it a day! A covered fresh air pavilion is available to relax and enjoy a picnic lunch.
