Barn Quilts of Black Hawk County

Enjoy two self-guided driving tours highlighting 25 quilts and 21 narratives. The tour includes viewing a quilt on the historic round barn at the Western Home Communities, local businesses and farms. Along the way you’ll view wetlands, the Cedar River and rural communities all within a short drive from Cedar Falls and Waterloo. Allow 2.5 hours per tour. Driving directions available on our website or a map may be picked up at the Cedar Falls Visitor Center.
