Trail system leads through canyons and cliffs with amazing rock formations with sites that are interestingly named "Steamboat Rock," "Devil's Punch Bowl" and "Fat Man's Squeeze." Non-modern restrooms.
Historic Pine Creek Grist Mill is located in the park, open Wednesday-Sunday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Two day-use picnic shelters are available for advanced reservations by visiting iowastateparks.reserveamerica.com.
A primitive campground is open year round with 28 campsites.
