These prehistoric American Indian burial and ceremonial mounds date from 500 B.C. to 1300 A.D., and are spread between 2,500 acres of forested land along the Mississippi River. This extraordinary monument is open dawn to dusky daily except for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's. The visitor center is open 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Follow us on Facebook for more information.
