Veteran Family, Friends, and Community Picnic

Join us for an evening built around connection, camaraderie, and community pride as we gather in front of the Veterans Mural at the Visiting Angels parking lot for our Veteran Family, Friends, and Community Picnic September 16th at 6pm! Bring a lawn chair and settle in for music, food, and conversation — a relaxed, welcoming space where Veterans, families, friends, and supporters can come together. Free parking after 6pm makes it easy to stop by and enjoy the evening. We’re grateful to our sponsors, Visiting Angels and Magic Matt’s Cleaning, for helping make this event possible and for their continued support of Veterans across Central Iowa. This picnic is all about Veterans supporting Veterans, strengthening community ties, and building engagement with local businesses and leaders. Everyone is welcome — Veterans, Guard/Reserve Members, spouses, families, employers, and neighbors who want to be part of something meaningful.
