Tour of the Mississippi River Valley (TOMRV)

TOUR OF THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY June 6-7 TOMRV – which is pronounced TOM-rahv and stands for “Tour of the Mississippi River Valley” – is an iconic two-day ride sponsored by the Quad Cities Bicycle Club. This year’s TOMRV is scheduled for the weekend of June 6-7. TOMRV takes cyclists up Mississippi River Valley from the Quad Cities to Dubuque on Saturday, then back on Sunday following an overnight stop. The ride begins and ends at the Isle Casino Hotel in Bettendorf, with packet pickup there on Friday evening. A shorter route to and from Dubuque begins and ends at Northeast High School in Goose Lake, Iowa. Due to construction in Illinois, this year’s ride will be in Iowa only. As always, the TOMRV route will feature beautiful scenery and a variety of terrains, from flat stretches to climbs up hills and bluffs. SAG support, baggage transportation, well-stocked rest stops, and a banquet dinner on Saturday night are all included.
