Sunflower Festival

Sunflowers have a way of making the end of September feel a little less like the end of anything.  By September 26–27, the farm will be settling into fall, but the sunflower field has other plans, so we’re giving it a weekend of its own. Join us for two days of wandering among the flowers, golden photo-ops, orchard tasting, tractor rides, you-pick apples and pumpkins, Farmyard fun, seasonal treats, and a few special extras while September is still giving us reasons to stay outside. Weekend Highlights. Sunflower Photo-Op  Flower Workshop with Mindy: Sunday, Sept. 27, 2–4pm. Tractor Rides: Sat–Sun, 9am–6pm, weather dependent  Apple Sampling: Sat–Sun, 9am–6pm  You-Pick Apples: Sat–Sun, 9am–9pm, while supplies last  You-Pick Pumpkins, Cut Flowers & Seasonal Crops: Sat–Sun, 9am–dusk  Farmyard: Sat–Sun, 9am–9pm  Kids’ Scavenger Hunt: Sat–Sun, 9am–9pm Face Painting & Henna Tattoos by Haley: Sunday, 9am–5pm Food & Drink Specials Sunflower Spritz, Honeycrisp cinnamon rolls, fresh croissants, bagels, bagel breakfast sandwiches, caramel apples, caramel sauce, fresh-pressed cider, apple cider slushies, and housemade vanilla soft serve.
