Splendor in the Brass

On Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. the Betty Strong Encounter Center welcomes back the Floyd Valley Brass Quintet who will present “Splendor in the Brass.” The group is excited to play here again and their show will include a variety of entertaining music. Admission is free, but freewill donations encouraged. The Floyd Valley Brass quintet was formed early in 2025 under the direction of Joe Brice. Mr. Brice was director of bands at Le Mars Community Schools high school from 1959-1974. He then was band director at Cherry Creek School District in S.E. suburban Denver before returning to Le Mars in 2024.
