Ski Bellevue Water Ski Show

MAKING WAVES ON THE MISSISSIPPI Ski Bellevue is a 100% volunteer-run, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to sharing the thrill of water skiing with the Bellevue community and beyond—completely free of charge (though donations are always appreciated!). We’re proud to be one of only four water ski show teams in Iowa—and the only one performing on the mighty Mississippi River. HIGH-FLYING FUN ALL SUMMER LONG Each summer, we host five, high-energy home shows, including a special performance during Bellevue Heritage Days. We also take the excitement on the road, performing in nearby towns—like our annual appearance at Island City Days in Sabula. Our shows are fast-paced and family-friendly, showcasing incredible skill, daring stunts, and a commitment to river safety. MORE THAN JUST A SHOW TEAM At Ski Bellevue, we’re also teachers, mentors, and safety advocates. We offer water skiing lessons and promote safe boating practices—for both members and the general public. Private lessons are available for anyone eager to learn. Over the years, hundreds of kids and adults have learned to ski and performed with us. Our 55+ members, ranging in age from 5 to 70, perform awe-inspiring acts including: human pyramids, ballet lines, barefoot skiing, strap doubles and much more! Every show is a team effort. Beyond the spotlight, dedicated members operate boats, manage ropes, and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
