Sheldon Prairie Museum

Sheldon Prairie Museum 9:00 a.m. – Noon and after the parade until 5:30 p.m. Located downtown at 4th Ave and 10th St. Take a step back in time and tour the 1908 Carnegie Library. There will also be other displays of early industry, Indian and animal artifacts, military, past school lifestyle, Civil War Diaries, Ellis Island dolls, and the Sheldon Hall of Fame. Burnice Geiger embezzled $2,126,859.10 from the Sheldon National Bank items on display; marble, night depository, and brick. The latest addition is a display case featuring the Masonic Lodge.
