Plant-Based Meetup: Vegan Burgers at Big Head Burger & Astronomy Night at the Grout Museum

Join the Cedar Valley Plant-Based Community for vegan burgers from Big Head Burger before heading to the Grout Museum for National Astronomy Day. Due to limited seating, we will eat at Washington Park, weather permitting. The evening will include astronomy activities and opportunities to explore the universe in the museum's planetarium, as part of the museum's annual Star Party season kickoff. It is free for museum members and $5 per person for the general public. This is a casual meetup and a fun way to connect with fellow plant-based locals while enjoying science and space exploration together. Schedule 5:00-6:00: Order to-go vegan burgers at Big Head Burger (324 W 4th St) 5:15-6:45: Eat burgers and plant-based picnic food at Washington Park picnic tables (W Park Ave & South St) 7:00-9:00: National Astronomy Day at the Grout Museum (503 South St) All are welcome: vegans, vegetarians, and anyone curious about plant-based food or space.
