Directed by Crystal Meier, “Conscience” by Joe DiPietro will take you back in time. This is the story of Maine Senator Margaret Chase Smith and her gripping political rivalry with Wisconsin Senator Joe McCarthy. As the 2 form a tense friendship that becomes an unlikely alliance, Senator Smith must choose between her political success and her own conscience. Come to the performance at the Mason City Community Theatre on Friday & Saturday - March 6th & 7th at 7 PM and Sunday- March 8th at 2 PM. Or catch it the following weekend, Friday & Saturday - March 13th & 14th at 7 PM and Sunday - March 15th at 2 PM.
