Paint it Back Festival The transformation begins Tuesday, August 18, as artists start sketching and bringing their visions to life. Throughout the week, the public is invited to watch the walls evolve from blank spaces into works of art. The celebration continues Thursday, August 20, as Paint it Back partners with Music on the Avenue for a special Downtown edition. The evening will feature live music by The Stockwells, mural painting, community gathering, and the premiere of the Paint it Back documentary short film. The week reaches its grand finale on Saturday, August 22, with the Paint it Back Block Party — the community celebration everyone has come to love. Street Art Battle | 2–7 PM Two visiting artists go head-to-head creating on the same theme and palette for the ultimate public art showdown. Live Music & DJ | Noon – 9 PM DJ The Associate will mix in-between live music sets from The Malortians, Drama Major, and High Five Sinners. Food Trucks & The Rusty Wagon Street eats, cold drinks, and local flavors fueling a full day of art, music, and community. Wright House of Fashion | 4 – 6 PM F.L.Y. by Anterrion Redd So Many Butterflies by Saviyon Everything’s Cliche by Spike Dupree Art Market | Noon – 7 PM Browse handcrafted art, original creations, and local makers celebrating creativity. Kids Zone | Noon – 4 PM Hands-on art activities, colorful fun, and creative adventures where young imaginations become part of the festival.
