OWLS Wildlife Prairie Park Day Trip

Take a walk on the wild side! Wildlife Prairie Park is located just outside of Peoria Illinois with a mission to educate and provide recreational opportunities that inspire learning about conservation. Cost is $25/ person and includes admission, an educational guided tour, and train ticket. Participants will meet at the Hurstville Interpretive Center by 8am to carpool/ caravan to WPP. Participants can bring a sack lunch, but there are a few places in the park to get small food items like sandwiches. OWLS events are for adults 18 years+. Schedule: 8:00-10:00 AM Carpool/caravan to WPP 10:00-10:15 AM Bathroom break 10:15-11:15 AM Guided tour of Merrill Woods 11:15-2:00 PM Free time! (eat lunch, ride the train, go to the visitor center and Forest hall, explore!) 2:00-2:30 PM Meet back with group, bathrooms, head back to Hurstville Interpretive Center * participants are welcome to leave whenever they are done exploring, as long as their whole carpool is taken care of!
