Naomi Shihab Nye Poetry Reading

Acclaimed Palestinian-American poet Naomi Shihab Nye will give a poetry reading at Coe College on Tuesday April 7 at 7:00 p.m. This is a thrilling opportunity to engage with the work of a major American writer. Celebrated for her poetry, Nye is also beloved as an essayist, editor, translator, children's author, and a powerful voice for justice. Audience Q&A will follow with the opportunity to purchase books and have them signed by the author. The reading will be held in Kesler Auditorium, a fully accessible room on the first floor of Hickok Hall on the Coe College campus. The event is free and open to all.
