Milkweeds & Monarch Butterflies

Conservation Office - 2490 Briggs Woods Trail, Webster City, IA 10:00 - 11:30 a.m. If you enjoy observing monarchs and want to learn how to provide garden, yard, or ditch habitat come and join us. Our County Conservation Naturalist explain how to plant and grow butterfly and pollinator gardens containing native milkweeds and wild flowers. We hope to have some cultivated milk weed plugs to be able to hand out to people who attend the program. We may go outside the office and plant some milkweed on the hillside by the office.
